Splyce
Two-channel summing mixer with combo XLR/1/4" inputs, 3-band EQ, Cornish buffer, boost—10mA/9V center-negative.
Splyce addresses the common singer-guitarist scenario where microphone and instrument need independent processing before mixing to single amplifier or PA channel. Two-channel summing mixer with combo XLR/1/4" input (left side) for microphone or instrument, standard 1/4" input (right side) for second instrument. Three-band EQ (Treble/Middle/Bass) shapes combined signal, side-accessible gain trimpot provides boost. Outputs include 1/4" high impedance for pedalboard/amp connection and XLR low impedance DI for mixer feeds.
Mojo Mode switch routes guitar signal through the 3-band EQ before mixing, allowing tonal shaping of instrument independent from vocal. Cornish-style buffer maintains signal integrity through long cable runs and complex pedalboard chains. Soft-touch switching with MOSFET clean boost, slide switch determines footswitch function: mute microphone or boost guitar. The flexibility allows the pedal to serve as mic mixer, clean boost preamp, or buffered mixer for combining multiple instruments.
Dimensions 81x69x80mm, 9V center-negative power at only 10mA draw—extremely low current consumption from all-analog circuitry. Heavy-duty folded steel construction, made in Canada. Splyce V2 updated version available with additional features. The pedal targets singer-guitarists, worship leaders, and solo performers needing to combine vocals and instruments without separate mixer or complex routing, suitable for coffee shop gigs, street performance, and small venues where simple signal summing enhances workflow.
