Feral Glitch
Randomizer/stutter/looper/delay with 3 modes (2 glitch, 1 delay). Recreates Jonny Greenwood Max/MSP effects.
The King of Gear Feral Glitch is a stutter/glitch effects pedal designed to recreate the randomized stutter effects used by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, originally created with Max/MSP software. It features three distinct modes: two glitch modes and one delay mode, with optional random control for unpredictable sonic results.
The pedal includes a Mode toggle switch that selects between Random and Fixed modes, and a Dry-Kill toggle switch that mutes or passes the dry signal when the stutter effect is activated. A high-pass filter shapes the effected sound. Two knobs control effect time/length (with maximum possible length in random mode) and effect volume. True bypass switching and separate effect engage footswitches provide flexible control.
The Feral Glitch has been discontinued but remains sought after for its unique ability to create glitchy, stuttering textures that defined Radiohead's experimental sound.
