Mini Glitch
Micro-sampler with 3 modes: Random, Switched, Threshold. Up to 1-second samples, 60mA draw, top-mount jacks.
The King of Gear Mini Glitch is a compact micro-sampler effects pedal offering three distinct operating modes. Random (RND) mode starts and stops glitching randomly, replicating the Max/MSP patch that inspired the Feral Glitch. Switched (SW) mode starts glitching when the footswitch is depressed, with momentary or latching functionality. Threshold (TRSH) mode triggers a new glitch each time the input signal exceeds a set threshold.
All three modes offer randomizable or fixed sample lengths up to 1 second in RND and SW modes, and 500ms in TRSH mode. The Sample Size knob has mode-specific secondary functions, while a dry gate switch provides MUTE or pass-through options. An internal trim pot controls effected signal volume, with dry signal kept at unity gain. Since September 2020, all units include an internal jumper to enable/disable clicks on loop repeats.
Compact with top-mounted jacks, the Mini Glitch runs on standard 9V DC center-negative power at approximately 60mA. Priced at $200 USD, it offers powerful glitch capabilities in a pedalboard-friendly format.
