The Fat General MKII

Parallel compressor evolved from the Dinosaural OTC-201, co-designed with Dan Coggins who created the original OTC-201 and previously designed Lovetone pedals. Parallel compression architecture blends compressed and dry signals to preserve natural dynamics.

Sustain, Blend, and Treble controls with a two-mode switch: Juicy mode for fully compressed signal with small dry blend, and Blend mode for parallel compression mixing more dry signal alongside the compressed signal. Input impedance 10M ohm, output impedance 39K ohm.

Designed as an always-on transparent compressor without pumping or tone coloring. MKII is sonically identical to V1 but in smaller black anodised enclosure with stainless steel laser-etched center console. 35mA current draw, 65mm x 125mm x 53mm.
