Cloudy adapts the legendary Mutable Instruments Clouds Eurorack module to guitar pedal format, running Parasites alternative firmware providing six different DSP programs: granular synthesis, pitch shifting, delay, reverb, filters, and resonators. Clouds gained cult following in modular synth community for transforming audio into granular textures and spectral processing impossible with traditional guitar effects, now accessible to guitarists without investing in Eurorack systems.
Mono input, stereo output via TRS jack allows wide spatial processing and stereo effects placement. Relay bypass switching maintains signal integrity when disengaged. Top-mounted power and I/O jacks save pedalboard space. Normal expression pedal jack maps to Density or Position parameters via internal switch, allowing real-time control over grain density or playback position during performance.
