Animalizzer

Handcrafted one-by-one in Portugal by family-run boutique builder TONE.ELECTRONIX. The Animalizzer uses a unique topology with a boost stage feeding two independent clipping stages (Stage I and Stage II) before hitting a comprehensive EQ section. Each clipping stage offers multiple diode options for tonal flexibility.

Stage I features a 3-position toggle selecting between symmetrical silicon diodes, LED diodes, or Open (natural transistor clipping). Stage II uses a 4-position rotary switch offering Open, germanium diodes, LED, or silicon diodes. The Pre-Gain control determines how much signal hits the clipping stages, while the Depth knob manages low-frequency content. The 3-band EQ (Treble, Mid, Bass) provides extensive tone shaping, with Volume and Fuzz controls rounding out the panel.

Capable of covering everything from mild overdrive to aggressive fuzz, working equally well with guitar and bass. Runs on standard 9V DC power.
