Delphine
Dual modulated tape delay (50-600ms) with independent preamp boost per channel—complex textures via parallel delays.
The Delphine simulates classic tape echo machines using dual independent delay circuits that can run separately or together for complex textures. Each channel features its own delay time (50-600ms), mix, echo (repeats), modulation depth and rate, and approximately 10dB preamp boost, allowing players to create layered delay patterns impossible with single-delay units.
Running both channels simultaneously produces rhythmic interactions between different delay times, similar to using two tape echo units in parallel. The modulation sections add chorus-like wobble to the repeats, recreating the natural pitch drift of worn tape mechanisms. Independent preamp boost per channel allows different signal levels for each delay voice.
Dual outputs enable wet/dry signal splitting or routing each delay to separate amplifiers. The Delphine targets players seeking vintage tape echo character with modern flexibility, suitable for ambient, shoegaze, and experimental genres where complex delay textures drive the musical composition.
