Wahxidizer

The TWA WX-01 Wahxidizer resurrects the iconic, demonic tones of the legendary Univox Super Fuzz while reinventing its user interface and expanding its capabilities. All the octave-fuzz tones of the original blue and orange monster have been replicated with pinpoint accuracy.

What sets the Wahxidizer apart is its envelope-controlled filter section. A parametric EQ circuit allows tone tweaking, and the EQ's center frequency can be swept three different ways: manually via knob, dynamically via playing dynamics, or externally via expression pedal. This effectively adds an envelope-controlled filter to the fuzz, or turns the pedal into a fuzz/wah/octave hybrid.

The original Fat/Scoop global EQ switch has been upgraded to a footswitch for on-the-fly access to two different fuzz voicings during performance.
