Tree of Life

The Tree of Life combines the best aspects of two legendary overdrives: the Hermida Zendrive and Fulltone OCD v3. Built with MOSFET semiconductors and BAT41 diodes in the clipping section, producing complex overtones across the entire gain range. At lower gain settings, it captures the dynamic, touch-sensitive, Zen-like qualities of the Zendrive circuit; at higher gain, it transitions into OCD-style responsive, thick overdriven sounds.

Features Tone, Gain, and Level controls in a powder-coated enclosure with laser-engraved graphics. The circuit responds exceptionally well to playing dynamics and guitar volume adjustments, cleaning up beautifully when backing off the volume knob. Hand-wired construction with US-made PCBs, 3PDT true bypass, and Neutrik jacks. Runs on 9V DC or 9V battery via 2.1mm Boss-style jack. This hybrid design offers two distinct overdrive personalities in a single pedal, produced in small batches until Vick Audio's closure in 2023.
