The Son of Hyde is the exact same high-gain distortion channel found in Visual Sound's acclaimed Jekyll & Hyde pedal, offered as a standalone unit. Features Drive, Treble, Mid, and Volume controls for comprehensive tone shaping. The three-band EQ with adjustable midrange provides wide sonic range from scooped modern metal to mid-focused classic rock distortion. The Bright switch (also called Sharp/Blunt in some versions) transitions between compressed and very bright distortion tones. Built-in noise reduction circuit eliminates white noise when you stop playing.
The Hyde distortion delivers heavy overdrive with tons of bottom end and extreme versatility across the gain range. The independent midrange control is key to dialing in everything from aggressive scooped tones to thick, sustaining lead sounds. Housed in die-cast aluminum with V2 Series construction and ultra-reliable 10 million cycle switching. Dimensions: 3" × 5 11/16" (78 × 144mm). Current draw: 18-19mA.
