The Vongon Polyphrase is a stereo echo effect pedal featuring two delay lines that can be used in stereo or stacked in mono, with delay times ranging from 5 milliseconds to 22 seconds. The pedal offers infinite feedback capability and includes echo pitch modulation with sine or random style waveforms, plus a tone control in the feedback path.
Tap tempo and MIDI tempo sync provide flexible timing control, while 9 onboard user presets are accessible via MIDI program change messages. All parameters on the faceplate can be remotely controlled via MIDI continuous controller messages. The pedal features three gain configurations for line level, instrument level, or low instrument level, plus an external feedback path for creative routing.
Housed in a single block of walnut that's CNC routed, hand sanded, and polished, the Polyphrase measures 165mm x 140mm x 45mm. It runs on 9VDC center-negative power at 200mA with buffered bypass and soft-touch footswitches. Priced at $449, it offers professional-grade delay with boutique craftsmanship.
