The R1 MK2 updates Walrus Audio's flagship reverb with a 2-inch OLED screen for improved parameter visualization. Six algorithms—Spring, Hall, Plate, BFR (Big F***ing Reverb), Refract, and Air—cover practical through experimental territory.
128 onboard presets are now accessible without MIDI, a significant upgrade. The Sustain/Latch footswitch provides momentary sustain when held or latching infinite pad mode when clicked, enabling live ambient performance.
True preset spillover allows natural decay when switching presets. Stereo I/O, comprehensive MIDI implementation, and volume swell effect add performance flexibility. Three bypass modes cover different needs. Each algorithm responds uniquely to the tweak controls for deep sound design.
