The Velvet Fuzz is a completely original design combining classic fuzz characteristics with the sound of an EL34-powered Marshall stack. The Big/Tight switch toggles between full, thick fuzz with massive compression (Big) and more defined, distortion-like response (Tight).
Volume, Fuzz, and Brightness controls shape the fundamental tone. The circuit delivers Big Muff-like sustain but with smoother highs and deeper bass than traditional fuzzes. The Tight setting particularly excels at defined, articulate fuzz-distortion hybrid tones.
Relay-based true bypass ensures silent switching. Handmade in the USA with premium components. The Velvet Fuzz covers everything from sludgy doom thickness to more controlled fuzz tones.
