Fuzz Lands
JFET, germanium, and silicon transistor fuzz with three toggle switches for wide tonal range.
Fuzz Lands combines JFET, germanium, and silicon transistors in an original circuit that sits somewhere between a Fuzz Face and a Tone Bender. Two knobs control Volume and Fuzz, while three toggle switches unlock the variety: Roots switches between Vintage mode (JFET bypassed for classic fuzz tones) and Modern mode (JFET active for more gain and buffer compatibility).
The Earth toggle changes input frequency response, with the up position providing a focused midrange for leads that cut through, and down offering thicker, fuller fuzz. The three-position Nature toggle adjusts transistor voltage feedback: up for gated and broken textures, middle for smoother response, and down for a nasal Bender-style character that ranges from overdrive to full fuzz.
Hand-built in Redlands, California. Current draw under 5mA makes it easy on power supplies. Cleans up with guitar volume in Vintage mode. True bypass. No battery option.
