Recreation of a specific 1972 Triangle-era Big Muff Pi known as the 'Dirty Guts' variant—built by studying an actual 1972 unit sent to Wren and Cuff for restoration by a customer. Transistors selected to match the sound of original half-spherical FS3700 black-top transistors, ceramic disc capacitors throughout the signal path replicating the original's cheap caps.

Volume, Tone, and Sustain controls. NOS carbon composition resistors wherever possible, plus two mil-spec metal film resistors for non-standard values. The ceramic disc caps and unusual component values give it a chaotic, snarling character distinct from later Triangle-era Muffs.

Recreates the very first generation of Big Muff Pi from 1972. Heavy duty folded steel enclosure, true hardwire bypass, 5mA draw, 5.7 x 3.6 x 1.7 inches, 1.34 lbs. Made in USA.
