Violet World Fuzz

Based on the 1973-74 violet-label Big Muff Pi from the Ram's Head era, with a non-standard transistor choice that gives it a unique hybrid character. Uses BC-108C silicon tin-can transistors—components typically associated with Fuzz Face circuits rather than Big Muff designs—sourced as NOS in original sealed Motorola boxes.

Volume, Tone, and Sustain controls. Distinctive generous mid-scoop voicing with lots of gain. The BC-108C transistors create a character that blends Muff architecture with Fuzz Face-associated components, a combination not found in standard Big Muff variants.

Specifically recreates the violet silk-screened Big Muff Pi variants from 1973-74. BC-108C transistors are no longer produced, making this a limited-supply build. True hard-wire bypass, 5mA draw, 4.8 x 2.6 x 1.6 inches, 9.5 oz.
