Tejas Boost

XAct Tone Solutions builds professional guitar pedals in Nashville focused on improving classic designs. The Tejas Boost is based on the old Colorsound Boost circuit, offering boost with EQ and an overdrive/distortion in one box.

When the Gain control is set low, the Tejas delivers a warm increase in volume and chime, perfect for pushing amplifiers into breakup or combining with other effects like compressors. Crank the Gain higher for overdrive territory. The tone controls are useful across their entire ranges, letting you add sparkle, cut some low-end bloat, or otherwise modify your tone.

Controls include Gain and independent Bass/Treble EQ. The Tejas goes from chimey boost to uncompressed, musical breakup. True bypass switching, 3.7" x 4.7" x 2" enclosure. Draws less than 15mA from standard 9V DC center-negative power. Made in USA.
