The Box of Metal delivers aggressive high-gain distortion inspired by the tube amplifiers that defined hard rock and metal since the '80s. Unlike the touch-sensitive Box of Rock, this pedal offers unrelenting saturation designed for tight palm muting and crushing riffs.

A five-knob control set includes Drive, Treble, Midrange, Bass, and Volume, plus a dedicated Gate control that silences noise between notes without affecting sustain. A separate switch enables or disables the gate for feedback and long fading notes during solos.

The gate is particularly effective, providing an audible thump for palm muting while opening cleanly for lead passages. True bypass ensures your tone remains untouched when the pedal is off. It's become a go-to for metal players who need high gain with studio-level noise control.
