Ringtone TT

The Ringtone TT (Tap Tempo) is hailed as the world's first dedicated tap-tempo sequenced ring modulator, introduced in 2006. It combines an analog ring mod with an 8-step sequencer that cycles through different carrier frequencies in rhythm.

Controls include Speed for sequence tempo, 8 individual carrier pitch knobs, and switches for step/sequence mode selection. When carrier pitch is turned low, the effect becomes tremolo-like pulsing. Internal trim pots adjust ring mod mix and carrier range.

The Run/Step switch toggles between automatic sequencing and manual stepping via the stomp switch. Tap tempo allows syncing to song tempos on the fly. An internal mix adjustment blends ring-modulated signal with dry guitar. Special battery-drain circuitry extends life until complete failure.
