The Surplus Elemental Overdriver is Zander Circuitry's two-stage boost/overdrive—designed for pushing amps into natural breakup or stacking with other gain pedals. The dual-stage approach provides versatility from clean boost through saturated drive. As a boost, the Surplus pushes tube amps into musical compression and breakup. As an overdrive, it provides its own saturation. Combined, the two stages offer extensive gain-staging options.
