The Prince of Tone delivers a single channel of the King of Tone's modified Bluesbreaker circuit in a standard-sized enclosure. Same Japanese components, same JRC4558D op-amp, same build quality. Available most Wednesdays without the KoT's infamous waitlist.

Volume, Drive, and Tone knobs with an external Mode switch selecting Clean, Overdrive, or Distortion. Internal DIP switches add a Lo-Mid Lift for enhanced lower string definition and a Turbo switch for deeper compression and crunchier highs at higher Drive settings. Internal treble trim pot for fine-tuning.

Runs on 9-18V at about 6mA with true bypass. In 2022, Piera partnered with MXR to produce the Duke of Tone, a mass-produced version that became MXR's bestselling pedal. The original Prince remains the handmade alternative.
