DD-7 Digital Delay
The Swiss Army knife delay - analog modeling, modulation, reverse, and 40-second looper.
The DD-7 arrived in 2008 as the Swiss Army knife of Boss compact delays, packing an enormous feature set into the standard enclosure. Analog delay modeling, modulation, reverse, external tap tempo, and a 40-second looper all in one pedal.
Eight modes: Analog (modeled), Tape (modeled), Standard, Modulation, Reverse, Hold (40-second looper), plus two more. The Analog and Tape modes convincingly simulate the character of degrading repeats without the noise and maintenance of actual BBD or tape circuits. The 40-second looper mode was a serious upgrade from previous Hold functions.
E.Level, F.Back, D.Time, and Mode. External tap tempo via the CTL input. At 52mA, the DD-7 is remarkably efficient for the amount of DSP it runs. Stereo output available.
Produced from 2008 to present, the DD-7 became the default 'do-everything' compact delay for players who don't need presets or MIDI but want every delay type covered in one pedal.
