The FDR-1 models the 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb using COSM technology, recreating one of the most recorded amplifiers in history. Part of Boss's Legend Series that also included the FBM-1 Bassman and FRV-1 Spring Reverb.

COSM modeling captures the Deluxe Reverb's clean headroom, touch-sensitive breakup, and signature spring reverb. The Deluxe Reverb is famous for its balance: loud enough for a stage, quiet enough for a studio, and with a clean-to-overdriven transition that responds to pick dynamics.

Volume, Treble, Bass, Reverb, and Speed/Intensity (vibrato) controls mirror the original amp's panel. The reverb and vibrato are modeled as part of the complete amp system.
