Antichthon Deluxe

The Catalinbread Antichthon Deluxe expands the original's oscillating bias fuzz circuit with substantially more control. The Action knob replaces the original Gravity control and accepts an expression pedal, letting you sweep between stable fuzz and full oscillation in real time. Body adds pre-gain that increases the excitability of all other controls, while a dedicated Mids boost centered around 800Hz helps cut through a mix.

The Feedback circuit (engaged via toggle switch) routes the pre-mids signal back into the input, creating runaway harmonics and unpredictable textures. Bias still controls the voltage entering the circuit for that signature starved-battery character. All controls remain highly interactive—small adjustments cascade through the circuit.

The Deluxe delivers everything the original did but with enough extra parameters to find repeatable sweet spots in the chaos. The expression input alone makes it a fundamentally different instrument on a pedalboard.
