Katzenkönig

The Catalinbread Katzenkoenig (Cat King) uniquely combines a modified Tone Bender MkII fuzz front end with a Rat distortion's clipping section and output buffer. The result sings like a fuzz but stays tight like distortion.

Input, Gain, Filter, and Volume controls shape the sound. At lower settings, the response is tight enough for palm-muted chugging - impossible with standard fuzz. Crank the Gain and Input for epic harmonic fuzz blooms.

Unlike most fuzz pedals, the Katzenkoenig welcomes humbuckers thanks to precise circuit tuning and input sensitivity control. The Filter provides everything from smooth and creamy to bright and cutting. Runs from 9-18V.
