SFX Tap

The Catalinbread SFX Tap is an external tap tempo controller, similar to the CB Tap but designed with broader compatibility in mind. It provides a footswitch for setting tempo on delay pedals and other time-based effects that accept external tap tempo via normally-open momentary switching.

An LED indicator confirms tempo registration so you can see your tap rate in real time. The compact format keeps your board tidy while giving you tap tempo access wherever your foot naturally falls, regardless of where your delay or modulation pedal is mounted.

Useful for any pedalboard where the primary tempo-synced effect is difficult to reach mid-performance. Simple, single-purpose design with no power requirements—it's just a switch in a box.
