Giant Hogweed

Drolo is a Belgian boutique pedal maker founded by David Rolo, known for innovative and experimental effects. The Giant Hogweed is one of the rare octave fuzzes that offers both upper and sub-octave simultaneously.

The main dirt circuit uses a single op-amp topology similar to a RAT. A secondary octave circuit can add octave-up, octave-down, or both, mixed with your dry signal before hitting the gain stage. This creates everything from subtle octave coloring to massive synth-like fuzz textures.

The ability to blend both octave directions simultaneously sets the Giant Hogweed apart from nearly every other octave fuzz on the market. Made in small batches in Belgium.
