Black Eye

EarthQuaker Devices based the Black Eye on the tall, green-boxed Russian Big Muff from the mid-1990s. That circuit had darker, woolier fuzz than American Muff variants.

The fuzz section captures that Russian low-mid character. Volume, Sustain, and Tone controls work like the original. A separate Boost section adds switchable gain for pushing the fuzz harder or running as an independent clean boost.

Two footswitches: one for fuzz, one for boost. Use them independently or stack the boost into the fuzz for maximum saturation. True bypass on both sections.
