EarthQuaker Devices created Levitation as a reverb with additional tone-shaping beyond typical decay and mix controls. Built-in modulation and drive add character. The reverb engine produces spring-style tones. Modulation adds subtle movement without obvious chorusing. The drive section can push the wet signal into saturation for darker, grittier ambience. Atmosphere control adjusts decay length. Tone shapes the reverb character. Drive adds saturation to taste. True bypass via relay switching.
