Octave Fuzz

The Octave Fuzz puts two footswitches on the larger enclosure: one for the main fuzz circuit, another to engage the octave-up effect independently. A mid-cut toggle switch on the front panel scoops the mids for a thinner, more nasal fuzz tone versus the full-range normal setting.

Three external knobs handle Volume, Tone, and Fuzz intensity. Inside, two internal trim pots let you fine-tune the Gain and Tone response of the octave-up circuit separately from the main fuzz. That level of tweakability is unusual at this price point.

The larger enclosure (11.9 x 9.4 cm) accommodates the dual-footswitch layout at 380g. True bypass on both switches. Runs on 9V DC. Input impedance of 500k ohms keeps it responsive to guitar volume knob cleanup.
