Vector
Silicon/germanium hybrid octave fuzz with voltage starve. Six knobs, from vintage warmth to synthy square wave.
The Vector is an octave fuzz built around a hybrid of silicon and germanium semiconductors, blending the spitty aggression of silicon with the warmer compression of germanium. The tonal range spans vintage-flavored fuzz textures through to synthy square-wave crunchiness.
Six controls cover a lot of ground. Octave sets the upper-octave intensity, Fuzz controls overall saturation, Tone shapes high frequencies, and Level handles output volume. The Wear knob is the standout feature: it simulates battery degradation by adjusting internal voltage between 9V and 5V, causing transistors to bias incorrectly for unstable, chaotic lo-fi sounds. A side-mounted initial state switch lets you choose the startup configuration.
True bypass. 9V DC center-negative at 50mA. Compact enclosure at 114 x 62 x 58mm, 250g. Input impedance over 1k ohms, output under 15k ohms.
