Flight Delay
Three-mode digital delay inspired by Memory Man, Boss DD-5, and Back Talk. Expression control ready.
Josh Scott calls the Flight Delay his distillation of three favorite delay pedals into one practical workhorse. Released in 2024, it offers analog BBD warmth (Memory Man/DM-2 style), pristine digital repeats (DD-5/DE7 tribute), and backwards reverse delay (Danelectro Back Talk homage). Each mode nails its reference point without circuit cloning or slavish reproduction.
The control panel balances simplicity with depth: Mix, Repeats, EQ, and Time knobs handle the basics, while dedicated Mod Rate and Mod Depth controls add chorus or vibrato to the repeats. A three-way modulation toggle switches between chorus, vibrato, or off. Tap tempo sets delay time up to one second, with subdivision switching for quarter, eighth, or dotted eighth patterns.
Trails bypass mode lets repeats ring out when bypassed. Expression pedal input sweeps delay time for tape-stop effects. Available in white or blue.
