SMPLoFi
Super Nintendo S-SMP-inspired DSP with two programs—bit depth, sample rate, and mix controls for retro gaming sounds.
The SMPLoFi draws inspiration from the Super Nintendo's S-SMP audio system for dialing in experimental yet nostalgic sounds from the early days of console gaming. Two different DSP programs switch via red button for distinct sonic approaches.
Program 1 (red button up): Yellow knob adjusts bit depth from 24-bit to 2-bit, Green knob controls sample rate with experimental signal-shaping, Blue knob blends dry/wet (100% dry to 100% wet). Program 2 (red button down): Yellow knob combines bit depth with reverb gate length modulation, Green knob adjusts band-pass filter frequency, Blue knob provides same mix control.
True bypass switching. May appear simple on the surface (hence the name SMPLoFi) but can do many different things. For players chasing nostalgic console gaming tones or experimental bit-crushed textures.
