Super Swell
Outboard surf reverb tank in a pedal. Dwell, Mixer, Tone controls with dripping wet spring character.
The Super Swell emulates the outboard spring reverb tanks that surf guitarists ran alongside their amps—not the small internal springs built into a Fender, but the standalone units with their own Dwell and Tone controls that could drench the signal in metallic, splashy reverb. Think Dick Dale's reverb setup, not your Twin's built-in spring.
Three controls mirror the classic tank interface: Dwell (signal level sent into the springs—higher means more reverb excitation), Mixer (full dry to full wet, continuous blend), and Tone (high-end damping or enhancement for darker or brighter spring character). Dialed back it does subtler amp-spring tones. Cranked, it's dripping wet surf tank.
True bypass. 9VDC center-negative (battery or adapter), <60mA. Handmade in Portland, Oregon.
