Blacklon
Fender Blackface AB763 amp simulator with 6L6GT/6V6GT tube voicing modes and mellow/drive character switch.
RoShi Pedals builds boutique fuzz and overdrive pedals in Japan with meticulous attention to vintage circuits and NOS components. The Blacklon (AMP02) recreates the Fender Blackface amplifier's AB763 circuit in pedal form, targeting the warm overdrive tones of the mid-1960s Deluxe Reverb and Princeton Reverb. Two toggle switches provide tonal flexibility: tube selection (6L6GT for ample headroom and detailed bass response, or 6V6GT for mellower neo-soul tones) and character modes (Mellow for rich lows with minimal distortion, or Drive for reduced bass and thicker, more saturated tones). The three-knob layout controls gain, volume, and tone, with the volume knob providing booster functionality. True bypass switching with 6mA current draw. Note that switching tube modes causes approximately 30 seconds of control instability as the circuit adjusts. Built
