The Aquabats Eaglebones Falconhawk signature dual overdrive/distortion with parallel blend control.
The Falcondrive is a signature pedal created by RUDE TECH in collaboration with Eaglebones Falconhawk (Ian Fowles) of The Aquabats. It combines overdrive and distortion in one unit with a blend knob that mixes both effects in parallel. Fully counterclockwise delivers Eaglebones' personal modded overdrive, fully clockwise delivers his personal modded distortion, and positions in between blend both effects.
Controls include Volume, Tone, Gain, and the critical Blend knob that determines the overdrive/distortion ratio. The cast aluminum enclosure features art by Thomas Fernandez and measures 4.7" × 3.7" × 1.66". It runs on 9V DC center-negative power or 9V battery, drawing less than 5mA. Boutique-grade construction makes it suitable for studio and live use.
Weighing 11.8 oz with top-mounted jacks, the Falcondrive ships with a crystal, satin pouch, The Aquabats black light poster decal, glow-in-the-dark Eaglebones pick, and surprise item. The parallel blending architecture and dual modded circuits provide range from clean boost through heavy distortion, all based on Eaglebones' touring and studio tones.
