The Omnia Bass Drive was developed in collaboration with Italian bassist Alex Lofoco to create expressive, touch-sensitive overdrive pedal specifically designed for bass guitar. Original circuit prioritizes transparency, extremely low noise, and maximum dynamic range while respecting instrument's original tone without sacrificing bottom end.
What distinguishes Omnia is its approach to gain staging—it's designed to sound like driven amplifier rather than typical fizzy distortion layered over clean bass. Gain control ranges from pristine clean boost at zero to heavy crunch and saturation, with control going up to 11 for extra push that delivers fuzz-like distortion. Passive tone control shelves treble frequencies without compromising definition, allowing players to tame harsh cabinet resonances.
Pedal operates from 9V to 24V DC (center-negative), with higher voltages increasing headroom and dynamic response. Built in Italy by Secret EFX, Omnia features true bypass switching and maintains low current consumption for pedalboard compatibility. It excels as expression tool that responds dynamically to playing touch rather than simply serving as effect.
