The Sinvertek Drive N5 Plus is pure analog circuit based on FET technology, representing most fully-featured compact drive/distortion/preamp pedal in Sinvertek's original N5 lineup. Pedal features extremely complex architecture consisting of sophisticated drive generating circuits, frequency response shaping networks, and comprehensive equalization systems. With 7 knobs and 5 toggle switches organized in compact case, Drive N5 Plus can provide up to 12 basic drive tones of totally different styles, covering range from subtle crunch to ultra high-gain metal tones.

Drive Generating Stages feature two Gain Saturation options and three Gain Structure options, providing unprecedented control over gain character and feel. Gain Saturation toggle alternates between Red High Saturation and Green Low Saturation modes, fundamentally altering harmonic content and compression characteristics. Three-way Gain Structure switch allows selection between Vintage, Modern, and Ultra voicings, each offering distinct tonal signatures. Tone Shaping Network includes Tone Identity toggle, which alternates between Blue High End Frequency Focus and Yellow Low End Frequency Focus, allowing players to shift entire frequency spectrum to match different guitars and amplifiers.

Additional tone-shaping comes from three types of low-end and mid-frequency EQ options and three top-end attack modes, controlled via dedicated switches. Top End Attack switch offers Mid & High Freq, Off, and + High Freq positions, allowing precise control over pick attack definition and high-frequency content. Knob complement includes Volume, Gain, Bass, Mid (with associated Mid Range Freq switch for Low/Mid/High Mid selection), Treble, and Presence controls. Unlike original Drive N5, Plus version focuses on providing widest possible range of static tonal options through comprehensive switching system. Excels when used as preamp pedal into clean amplifier channel or directly into power amp.
