Swirl

The Swirl is an optical vibe/phaser based on the 1969-era Uni-Vibe. Four phase-shifting stages mix with the original dry signal at the output, using op-amp gain stages with LEDs instead of the original's incandescent bulb. The design varies the degree of phase shift rather than the intensity, creating a distinctive Uni-Vibe character.

Single Speed knob — deliberately simple for easy foot adjustment — ranging from near-standstill to super-fast rotary spin. Green bypass LED and always-active red speed indicator LED. Optimized sweep for the fullest possible range and intensity, with a balance between smooth symmetrical and throbbing asymmetrical waveform.

Lower noise and higher input impedance than vintage originals. Neutral EQ and volume footprint. True bypass. 9V DC only (no battery option), standard negative-tip barrel connector. Handmade in Milwaukee.
