Updated 76 octave fuzz with expanded Texture and Color controls. Made in Montreal.
SolidGoldFX builds all their pedals by hand in Montreal, Canada. The 76 MKII refines the original's Ibanez Standard Fuzz-inspired circuit with enhanced tone-shaping controls and improved build quality.
The MKII retains the JFET preamp and quartet of Toshiba transistors that define the 76's character. Dual independent Texture and Color tone stacks provide precision audio sculpting. Color sweeps a low-pass filter while Texture adjusts midrange content.
An octave bypass switch tames the wild upper harmonics when you want straight fuzz. Internal DIP switches offer additional voicing options including a germanium-silicon hybrid clipping mode. Soft-touch relay true bypass switching with top-mounted jacks.
