SolidGoldFX builds all their pedals by hand in Montreal, Canada. The 76 pays tribute to an often-overlooked era of Japanese fuzz design that produced unique circuits like the Univox Super Fuzz and Ibanez Standard Fuzz.

The 76 uses a JFET preamp feeding four high-gain Toshiba transistors to create searing octave-up fuzz tones. The octave effect engages automatically at higher fuzz settings, producing that classic ring-mod shimmer on single notes above the 12th fret.

Volume and Fuzz controls handle the basics while Color sweeps a low-pass filter to tame highs. Texture adjusts midrange content for different fuzz flavors. Internal DIP switches alter clipping characteristics. True bypass with top-mounted jacks.
