Atlas III

The Atlas III is a medium-gain discrete preamp booster designed specifically for pushing the front end of tube amps. While staying relatively clean and transparent, it adds subtle color and harmonic overtones that become more apparent as you increase gain.

The discrete preamp design adds rich, warm character while adding sparkle in the highs without muddying the lows. The gain control is completely useable throughout its full rotation. An internal mini switch selects output phase for multi-amp setups and studio situations.

True-bypass switching via heavy-duty mechanical footswitch. Current draw 2.8mA engaged, 0.9mA bypassed. Hand-soldered in Portland, Oregon with cast aluminum enclosure, engraved vinyl faceplate, and vintage dimmable indicator light.
