Atlas IV

The Atlas IV is the next generation of Spaceman's preamp booster. A discrete FET circuit with 7 JFET transistors adds up to 15dB of boost with natural tone and wide dynamic response. The Boost knob controls level while two switches expand capabilities.

Thrust adds harmonic saturation, lowering headroom and increasing output by 5dB while adding sparkle to highs and thickness to lows. The Axis switch shifts voicing up, reducing bass and increasing treble. Combined, they turn the Atlas IV into a treble boost or balance between pickups.

True-bypass switching via soft-click footswitch. Current draw 5.8mA engaged, 4.9mA bypassed. Fully hand-soldered in Portland, Oregon with cast aluminum enclosure and engraved vinyl faceplate.
