El Capistan v2

The El Capistan V2 brings Strymon's acclaimed tape echo emulation into the modern era with full MIDI control and 300 preset locations. The core dTape algorithms receive subtle refinements while maintaining the character that made the original legendary.

All three tape machine types return: Fixed head for classic delay, Multi head for rhythmic patterns, and Sliding head with the 20-second Sound on Sound looper. Independent spring reverb remains, as do the deep tape character controls—Wow & Flutter, Tape Age, Bias, Crinkle, and Low End Contour.

New this generation: TRS MIDI and USB-C connectivity, MIDI Clock sync for tempo-locked delays, and saveable presets that store complete tape machine configurations. Stereo operation and ARM-powered processing round out the upgrade.
