Hobo Drive
Dual-function overdrive preamp with clean boost. Pre/Post switch places boost before or after drive.
The Hobo Drive functions as two pedals in one: a three-knob overdrive preamp and an independent clean boost. The unique Pre/Post toggle switch places the boost either before or after the preamp circuit for different gain structures.
In Post mode, the boost works as a typical signal enhancer. In Pre mode, it feeds higher signal into the preamp, increasing distortion intensity. The 2-stage preamp features Preamp and Master volume controls with a Tone knob for timbre shaping.
An internal DC-to-DC converter provides plus/minus supply from 9V for increased headroom. Two footswitches independently control the overdrive and boost sections. From bluesy warmth to gritty grunge, it delivers the vintage-sounding tone T-Rex is famous for.
