Super Ram
Ram's Head Muff meets Super Fuzz — octave-up blend and adjustable gate for sludgy, cutting fuzz tones.
The Super Ram is a heavily modified Ram's Head Big Muff circuit that borrows key characteristics from the Shin-ei Super Fuzz, merging two legendary fuzz lineages into a single pedal. The goal was a Muff-style fuzz with enough presence to cut through a dense band mix, with adjustable octave-up texture layered on top.
Four controls shape the sound: Volume sets output level, Tone acts as a low-cut filter (clockwise removes bass rather than traditional tilt EQ), Gate adjusts the noise gate threshold for cleaning up between notes, and Octave blends in the Super Fuzz-style octave-up harmonic from subtle shimmer to full splattery chaos. There is no dedicated gain knob — the fuzz is running wide open by design.
True bypass switching. 9V DC center-negative. Handbuilt by Vaderin in the USA.
