Tight switch controls low-end response: relaxed vintage setting maintains loose, warm bass character of original JTM45, tighter setting focuses bass for modern high-gain contexts and preventing mud with humbuckers. Mojo switch introduces power amp saturation and tube rectifier sag, recreating the compression and harmonic complexity that occurs when vintage tube amps run at high volumes.
