Bellwether

The Bellwether is Walrus Audio's feature-rich analog delay using bucket brigade chips for warm, saturated echoes up to 1000ms. Tap tempo—rare in analog delays—makes it practical for live performance.

The Analog Chorus Engine adds modulation to the delay trails with independent rate and depth controls. Four tap divisions (quarter, eighth, dotted eighth, triplet) sync repeats to your playing. Time, repeats, tone (high-cut), and level controls shape the delay character.

An effects loop allows inserting other pedals into the delay path. Expression control can manipulate time or repeats for pitch-bending effects. Two outputs enable stereo spreading. From classic western slapback to self-oscillating madness, the Bellwether handles serious analog delay territory.
