The Tumnus earned its reputation by consistently matching or beating original Klon Centaurs in blind listening tests. At under two inches wide, it delivers the same transparent overdrive character—the famous 'chew' and warmth—using surface-mount silicon diodes instead of rare germanium.

Three controls handle everything: Gain sets the amount of overdrive from clean boost to crunchy drive, Level controls output volume, and Treble adjusts the high-frequency rolloff. The circuit responds dynamically to pick attack and guitar volume, cleaning up beautifully when you back off.

Buffered bypass maintains signal integrity throughout your chain. The Tumnus works equally well pushing a clean amp into breakup or stacking with other drive pedals. It's the Klon experience without the collector prices.
