Analog Phaser

CMAT Mods was founded by Chad Matthews and became a full-time enterprise when he began working with pedal builder Greg Blessing. Their designs focus on boutique tone using premium components and meticulous construction.

The Analog Phaser is a 4-stage phaser using hand-matched JFETs for the warmest, most musical phase sound. The all-analog design delivers smooth modulation without the noise floor issues that can affect other phaser topologies.

Controls for Depth, Level, and Phase speed provide complete control over the effect. The Level control enables fine unity gain adjustment, while Depth controls the intensity of the phase sweep. Set it slow for Van Halen-style swirl or fast for warbling intensity.

Built with military-grade wiring and circuit board, hand-matched JFETs, cream Davies knobs, Neutrik jacks, and Alpha pots. The warm character plays well with distortion pedals, and sufficient output prevents volume loss when engaged. True bypass via EH 3PDT switch.
